This regulation may be cited as the Superannuation (State Public Sector) Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2000 . ˙ Regulation amended 2. This regulation amends the Superannuation(StatePublicSector)Regulation 1996 . ˙ Replacement of s 3 (Declared units of the State public sector) 3. Section 3— omit, insert — ˙ ‘ Declared units of the State public sector ‘ 3. For section 2(1) of the Act, definition “unit of the State public sector”, each of the entities mentioned in the schedule is a unit of the State public sector.’. ˙ Insertion of new s 6 and schedule 4. After section 5— insert — ˙ ‘ Retrospective effect of certain declarations ‘ 6.(1) The declaration of the Sugar Industry Commissioner as a unit of the State public sector is taken to have commenced on 4 February 2000. ‘ (2) The declaration of South East Queensland Water Corporation Limited ACN 088 729 766 as a unit of the State public sector is taken to have commenced on 17 March 2000. ‘ (3) The declaration of the Gladstone Economic and Industry Development Board as a unit of the State public sector is taken to have commenced on 20 April 2000. ‘ (4) The declaration of the Bureau of Sugar Experiment Stations as a unit of the State public sector is taken to have commenced on 1 May 2000.
