This regulation may be cited as the Superannuation (State Public Sector) Amendment of Deed Regulation (No. 6) 1997 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 1 January 1998. ˙ Approval of amendment of deed 3. This regulation approves the amendments of the Superannuation (State Public Sector) Deed 1990 in the schedule.

3 Superannuation (State Public Sector) Amendment of Deed (No. 6) No. 414, 1997 ¡ SCHEDULE AMENDMENTS OF SUPERANNUATION (STATE PUBLIC SECTOR) DEED 1990 section 3 1. Section 84(4), ‘This section’— omit, insert — ‘Subsection (1)’. 2. Section 84— insert — ‘ (5) Also, subsection (1) does not apply to a person mentioned in subsection (1) who gives written notice to the board that the person does not wish to be insured under this subdivision. ‘ (6) To remove doubt, it is declared that subsection (1) applies to a person mentioned in subsection (5) who later gives written notice to the board that the person wishes to be insured under this subdivision.’.
