s1 2 s2 Superannuation (State Public Sector) Amendment of No. 134, 2004 Deed Regulation (No. 1) 2004 1 Short title This regulation may be cited as the Superannuation (State Public Sector) Amendment of Deed Regulation (No. 1) 2004 . 2 Approval of amendments of deed This regulation approves the amendments of the Superannuation (State Public Sector) Deed 1990 stated in the schedule.

3 Superannuation (State Public Sector) Amendment of No. 134, 2004 Deed Regulation (No. 1) 2004 Schedule Amendments of Superannuation (State Public Sector) Deed 1990 section 2 1 Amendment of s 29C (Dealing with agreement or court order) Section 29C(2) and (3), ‘by the operative time’— omit, insert— ‘effective from the operative time’. 2 Amendment of s 32 (Definitions for ch 2) Section 32, definition salary , ‘on the recommendation of the board’— omit. 3 Amendment of s 47 (Member’s prospective membership benefit) (1) Section 47(1)(a) to (c)— omit, insert— ‘(a) the member has at least 10 years contributory membership; or (b) in the board’s opinion, the member’s total and permanent disability or death was not related to a medical condition the signs or symptoms of which existed before the start of the member’s contributory membership.’. (2) Section 47(2A), ‘Subsection (1)(b) and (c) do’— omit, insert— ‘Subsection (1) does’.
