AN ACT to amend the Superannuation, Sick, Death, Insurance, Guarantee and Endowment (Local Gov- erning Bodies' Employees) Funds Act, 1947.

BE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty,by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :-

Short title. 1.

This Act may be cited as the Superannuation, Sick, Death, Insurance, Guarantee and Endowment (Local Governing Bodies' Employees) Funds Act Amendment Act, 1949, and shall be read as one with the Superannua- tion, Sick, Death, Insurance, Guarantee and Endowment (Local Governing Bodies' Employees) Funds Act, 1947 (Act No. 58 of 1947), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act.

Citation of

The principal Act, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the Superannuation, Sick, Death, Insurance, Guarantee and Endowment (Local Governing Bodies' Employees) Funds Act, 1947-1949.

Amendment of

s. 2. 3.

Section two of the principal Act is amended by adding after the figures "1919-1947" in line six, the words "and a Board of Parks and Reserves appointed under the Parks and Reserves Act, 1895-1947".

Amendment of 4.

Section three of the principal Act is amended by

deleting the words "and guarantee" in line four and

substituting the words ", guarantee and endowment"
