Superannuation (Retiring Age) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Superannuation Act 1976.

Minimum retiring age

Regulation 5 of the Superannuation (Retiring Age) Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (1) “an eligible employee who is—” and substituting “each of the following eligible employees:”;

(b) by omitting from paragraph (1) (1) “or” (last occurring); and

(c) by adding at the end of sub-regulation (1) the following paragraph:

“(n) an officer of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization.”.
