Superannuation (Resolution of Complaints) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Superannuation (Resolution of Complaints) Act 1993.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 14 February 1997.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Superannuation (Resolution of Complaints) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Schedule 1 (Exempt public sector superannuation schemes taken to be regulated superannuation funds)

3.1   Omit the Schedule, substitute:

 “SCHEDULE 1 Regulation 4A

EXEMPT PUBLIC SECTOR SUPERANNUATION SCHEMES TAKEN TO BE REGULATED SUPERANNUATION FUNDS

1.QUEENSLAND

1.1 Government Officers’ Superannuation Scheme (Gosuper)

1.2 Police Superannuation Fund (Police Super)

1.3 State Public Sector Superannuation Scheme (Q Super)

1.4 State Service Superannuation Fund (State Super)

2. WESTERN AUSTRALIA

2.1 Schemes established by or under:

(a) the Superannuation and Family Benefits Act 1938

(b) the Government Employees Superannuation Act 1987”.
