Superannuation (Public Employees Portability) Notice 2008

1   Short title

This notice may be cited as the Superannuation (Public Employees Portability) Notice 2008.

2   Commencement

This notice commences on 2 September 2008.

3   Eligible superannuation schemes—Act, s 12(1)

Each superannuation scheme stated in the schedule is declared to be an eligible superannuation scheme.

1Commonwealth Superannuation Scheme established under the Superannuation Act 1976 (Cwlth).

2Defence Forces Retirement Benefits Superannuation Scheme established under the Defence Forces Retirement Benefits Act 1948 (Cwlth) and Defence Force Retirement and Death Benefits Act 1973 (Cwlth).

3UniSuper Scheme administered under a trust deed dated 24 December 1982.

4Northern Territory Government and Public Authorities’ Superannuation Scheme established under the Superannuation Act 1986 (NT).

5Public Sector Superannuation Scheme established under the Superannuation Act 1990 (Cwlth).

6The Electricity Industry Superannuation Scheme established under the Electricity Corporations Act 1994 (SA).
