Statutory Rules 1992   No. 3181 __________________ Superannuation (PSS) Membership Inclusion Declaration No. 8 I, RALPH WILLIS, Minister of State for Finance, make the following Declaration under the Superannuation Act 1990.          Dated 24 September 1992. RALPH WILLIS Minister of State for Finance ____________ Citation                1.   This Declaration may be cited as the Superannuation (PSS) Membership Inclusion Declaration No. 8. [NOTE:  This Declaration commences on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, ss.46A and 48.] Interpretation                2.   In this Declaration: “the Act” means the Superannuation Act 1990; “the Corporation” means the Dairy Research and Development Corporation. Inclusions                3.   (1) Section 6 of the Act applies to a person who:               (a)   is a director or an employee of the Corporation; and               (b)   either:    (i)   was a director or an employee of the Corporation on 1 November 1991; or    (ii)   became a director or an employee of the Corporation after 1 November 1991 and before the day on which this Declaration is notified in the Gazette; and               (c)   has not ceased to be a director or an employee of the Corporation; and (d) has elected, except under section 8 of the Act, to become a member of the Superannuation Scheme before the day on which this Declaration is notified in the Gazette.               (2) Section 6 of the Act applies to a person mentioned in subclause (1) from the commencement of:               (a)   1 November 1991; or               (b)   the day on which the person became a director or an employee of the Corporation; whichever is the later. ____________________________________________________________ NOTE 1.     Notified in the Commonwealth of Australia Gazette on 7 October 1992.
