Superannuation (Period of Contributory Service) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Superannuation Act 1976.

1.   Amendment

1.1   The Superannuation (Period of Contributory Service) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

[NOTE: These Regulations commence on gazettal: see Acts Interpretation Act 1901, s. 48.]

2.   Schedule 1 (Modification of the Act in its application in relation to certain persons to whom section 183 of the Act applies)

2.1   Item 2 (added paragraph 193 (2) (b)):

Omit the paragraph, substitute:

• “(b)

  a reference to the former Board is a reference to the Commissioner if at the relevant time the former Board had ceased to exist.”.

2.2   Item 2 (added paragraph 194 (1) (b)):

Omit “Board” (thrice occurring), substitute "former Board".

2.3   Item 2 (added subparagraph 194 (1) (e) (ii)):

Omit “Board” (twice occurring), substitute "former Board".

2.4   Item 2 (added paragraph 194 (1) (f)):

Omit “Board”, substitute "former Board".

2.5   Item 2 (added subparagraph 194 (1) (h) (ii)):

Omit “Board” (twice occurring), substitute "former Board".

2.6   Item 2 (added subparagraph 194 (1) (j) (iii)):

Omit “Board”, substitute "former Board".

2.7   Item 2 (added subparagraph 194 (1) (m) (iii)):

Omit “Board”, substitute "former Board".

2.8   Item 2 (added subparagraph 194 (1) (m) (iv)):

Omit “Board”, substitute "former Board".

2.9   Item 2 (added subparagraph 194 (1) (n) (iii)):

Omit “Board”, substitute "former Board".

2.10   Item 2 (added subparagraph 194 (1) (n) (iv)):

Omit “Board”, substitute "former Board".

2.11   Item 2 (added sub-subparagraph 194 (1) (n) (v) (B)):
