SUPERANNUATION LEGISLATION FURTHER AMENDMENT

ACT 1997 NO 149—PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 (2) of the Superannuation Legislation Further Amendment Act

1997, do, by this my Proclamation, appoint 1 July 1998 as the day on which

the uncommenced provisions of that Act commence.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the

Superannuation Legislation Further Amendment Act 1997 which amend the First Stare Superannuation Act 1 9 9 2 , the State Authorities Superannuation Act 1987 and the Superannunation Act 1916 i n relation to additional employer contributions for

superannuation.
