Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Supervision Industry (Supervision) Act 1993.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on gazettal.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.1  Regulation 11.02 (Lodgment of annual returns by superannuation entities)

3.1   Paragraph 11.02 (b):

Omit the paragraph, substitute:

• “(b)

  for a superannuation entity, other than an excluded fund, that is a public offer entity—4 months; and

• (c)

  for any other superannuation entity:

  • (i)

    for a year of income that ends before 30 June 1999—6 months; and

  • (ii)

    for a year of income that ends on or after 30 June 1999—4 months.”.
