1Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Amendment Regulations 2004 (No. 5).

2Commencement

These Regulations commence on the date of their notification in the Gazette.

3Amendment of Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Regulations 1994

Schedule 1 amends the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Regulations 1994.

[1]Subregulation 5.01 (1), definition of Government

co-contribution benefits

substitute

Government co-contribution benefits means Government

co-contributions made under the Co-contribution Act, less:

1. (a)

   the costs applicable to them; and

2. (b)

   any amounts repaid under section 24 of the

   Co-contribution Act.
