This regulation may be cited as the Superannuation (Government and Other Employees) Amendment of Articles Regulation (No. 1) 1997 . ˙ Approval of amendment of Articles 2. This regulation approves the amendment of the ArticlesoftheGovernment Officers’ Superannuation Scheme set out in the schedule.

s1 3 s2 Superannuation (Government and Other Employees) Amendment of Articles (No. 1) No. 144, 1997 SCHEDULE AMENDMENT OF THE ARTICLES OF THE GOVERNMENT OFFICERS’ SUPERANNUATION SCHEME section 2 ˙ Commencement 1. The amendment stated in this schedule is taken to have commenced on 1 November 1996. ˙ Amendment of s 22A (Provision of insurance) 2. Section 22A— insert — ‘ (4) This section does not apply to a member— (a) who was, on 31 October 1996, an employee of the Commissioner of Fire Service established under the Fire ServiceAct 1990 ; and (b) whose employment under that Act has continued.’.
