I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of
the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the
Dated 26 June 1990.

“10. The Act applies subject to the modification specified in Schedule 6 in respect of each person who:
(a) is a person to whom section 126a of the Act applies by reason of becoming a member of the Superannuation Scheme for Australian Universities on or after 1 July 1990 but before 1 January 1991; and
(b) was a member of the staff of Northern Territory University immediately before 1 July 1990.”.

MODIFICATION—EMPLOYEES OF NORTHERN TERRITORY UNIVERSITY
Substitute the following paragraph:
“(b) is, or within the period that is the prescribed period in relation to him or her becomes:
(i) employed in public employment; and
(ii) a member of an eligible superannuation scheme that is applicable in relation to persons employed in that employment;”.
