Superannuation (Former Eligible Employees) Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Superannuation Act 1976.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1991.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Superannuation (Former Eligible Employees) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Schedule 5 (Modification—employees of, and holders of statutory office in, Australian Postal Corporation or Australian Telecommunications Corporation)

3.1 Modification of section 131 of the Act (definition of “investment assets of the Fund”):

Omit “Trust” (twice occurring), substitute “Board”.

3.2 Modification of section 131 of the Act (definition of “investment liabilities of the Fund”):

Omit “Trust” (twice occurring), substitute “Board”.

3.3   Modification of subsection 133 (3) of the Act:

Omit “Trust”, substitute “Board”.
