Superannuation (Eligible Employees) Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)

THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice
of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under
the

“‘superannuation scheme’ means a scheme, fund or arrangement, however established, under which superannuation or retirement benefits are payable, but does not include the following schemes:
(a) the scheme constituted by the provisions of the Act;
(b) the Northern Territory Police Supplementary Benefit Scheme, being the scheme of that name to which members of the Police Force of the Northern Territory are, under the terms and conditions of service applicable to them, required to contribute;”.

(a) by omitting from sub-paragraph (a) (ii) “(not being the scheme constituted by the provisions of the Act)”;
(b) by omitting from sub-paragraph (aa) (ii) “(not being the scheme constituted by the provisions of the Act)”; and
(c) by omitting from sub-paragraph (o) (ii) “(not being the scheme constituted by the provisions of the Act)”.
