Superannuation (Eligible Employees) Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)

THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice
of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under
the
Dated 26 June 1990.

(a) by omitting “the following schemes” from the definition of “superannuation scheme”;
(b) by adding “or” at the end of paragraph (a) of the definition of “superannuation scheme”;
(c) by adding at the end of the definition of “superannuation scheme” the following word and paragraph:“; or
(c) a scheme, or a part of a scheme, that is established for the preservation, or payment of, benefits of the kind referred to as ‘interim benefits’ in the
Superannuation (Productivity Benefit) Act 1988 ;”.

(a) by adding at the end of paragraph (aa) the following word and subparagraph:“; and
(iii) are not persons to whom section 51 of the Act applies;”;
(b) by adding at the end of subparagraph (o) (i) “and”;
(c) by inserting after subparagraph (o) (ii) the following subparagraph:“(iia) who are not persons to whom section 51 of the Act applies; and”.
