 These regulations are the Superannuation (CSS) Salary Amendment Regulations 1999 (No. 1).

8QDAnnual rate of salary (Act, s 5 (3))

  • (1)

    This regulation applies to an eligible employee who:

    • (a)

      is bound by an agreement in which express provision is made that, for the Act, the employee’s annual rate of salary is an amount mentioned in, or ascertained under, the agreement; or

    • (b)

      is mentioned in, or is included in a class of persons mentioned in, a remuneration determination in which express provision is made that, for the Act, the employee’s annual rate of salary is an amount mentioned in, or ascertained under, the remuneration determination.

  • (2)

    Despite any other provision in these regulations, for the Act, the annual rate of salary on a particular day for the employee is an amount equal to the amount, per annum, referred to in subregulation (1).
