Superannuation (Continuing Contributions for Benefits) Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)

GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of
the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the
Dated 27 June 1991.

1.1 These Regulations are taken to have commenced on 1 July 1990.
2.1 The Superannuation (Continuing Contributions for Benefits) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.
3.1 Subparagraph 3 (1) (j) (i):
After “section”, insert “87M or”.
3.2 Subparagraph 3 (1) (k) (i):
After “section”, insert “87M or”.
4.1 Item 1 (inserted paragraph 124B (d)):
After “section”, insert “87M or”.
4.2 Item 1 (inserted subparagraph 124B (f) (i)):

4.4 Items 2 and 3:
Omit the items, substitute:
“2. Section 159:
2.1 After subsection 159 (1), insert:
‘(1A) This section also applies to:
(a) AIDC Ltd.; and
the Dairy Research and Development Corporation; and
(c) a Commonwealth authority, within the meaning of Part IV of thePublic Service Act, that is not an an approved authority.’.
2.2 Subparagraph 159 (2) (a) (ii):
After ‘(1) (b)’, insert ‘or (1A) (a), (b) or (c)’.
3. Section 160:
3.1 After paragraph 160 (4) (a), insert:
‘(ab) proposes to become, becomes or is employed by a body referred to insubsection 159 (1A); or’.
3.2 After paragraph 160 (6) (a), insert:
‘(ab) a body referred to in subsection 159 (1A); or’.”.
