SUPERANNUATION (AXIOM FUNDS MANAGEMENT CORPORATION) ACT 1996 No 40—PROCLAMATION

(L.S.) GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.

I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 2 of the Superannuation (Axiom Funds Management Corporation) Act 1996, do, by this my Proclamation:

(a)	appoint 23 May 1997 as the day on which section 60 (2) of, and Schedule 3 to, that Act commence, and
(b)	appoint 23 May 1997 for the purposes of section 60 (1) of that Act (as the day on and from which Division, of Part 3 of that Act does not apply to Axiom Funds Management Limited).

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Proclamation is to commence the uncommenced provisions of the Superannuation (Axiom Funds Management Corporation) Act I996 and to appoint the day on and from which Division 4 of Part 3 of that Act does not apply to Axiom Funds Management Limited.
