I, General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 92 of the Superannuation Act 1916, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
The object of this Order is to update the list of employers in Schedule 3 to the Superannuation Act 1916:

(a)	to include the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation New South Wales Branch so that contributors to the State Superannuation Fund whose employment is transferred to the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation New South Wales Branch will continue to be contributors to that Fund for the purposes of the Superannuation Act 1916, and
(b)	to reflect a name change from the former New South Wales Nurses’ Association (in Schedule 3
referred to as the NSW Nurses’ Association) to the New South Wales Nurses and Midwives’ Association that occurred on 15 August 2012.

This Order is made under section 92 of the Superannuation Act 1916.

1      Name of Order

This Order is the Superannuation Amendment (Australian Nursing and Midwifery
Federation New South Wales Branch) Order 2016.

2      Commencement

This Order commences on the day on which is it published on the NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Superannuation Act 1916 No 28

(1) Schedule 3 List of employers

Omit “NSW Nurses’ Association” from Part 1.

Insert instead “New South Wales Nurses and Midwives’ Association”.
