An Act to amend the Superannuation Administration Act 1987 in respect of the membership of the State Authorities Superannuation Board. [Assented to 23 March 1990]

Superannuation Administration (Amendment) 1990

The Legislature of New South Wales enacts:

Short title

l. This Act may be cited as the Superannuation Administration

(Amendment) Act 1990.

Commencement

2. This Act commences on 30 March 1990.

Amendment of Superannuation Administration Act 1987 No. 210, ss.

5 and 6 (Board membership)

3. The Superannuation Administration Act 1987 is amended by

omitting from sections 5 and 6 the matter "1990" wherever occurring

and by inserting instead the matter “1991”.

Extension of terms of office of members of Interim State Authorities

Superannuation Board

4.        (1) This section applies to a member of the State Authorities

Superannuation Board to whom section 5 of the Superannuation Administration Act 1987 applies and who is a member of that Board immediately before the end of March 1990.

(2) Despite anything contained in any instrument of appointment of a member to whom this section applies, any such member is to be taken to have been appointed for a term expiring at the end of March 1991.
