GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 20E (3) of the Superannuation Act 1916, make the following Order.

Explanatory note

The object of this Order is to add certain employers to Part 2 of Schedule 26 to the Superannuation Act 1916, so that employees of such employers will be able to participate in the conversion offer to be made under Part 3B of the Act.

Superannuation (Conversion Offer) Order 2000

1     Name of Order

This Order is the Superannuation (Conversion Offer) Order 2000.

2 Commencement

This Order is taken to have commenced on 1 January 2000.

3     Amendment of Part 2 of Schedule 26

Part 2 of Schedule 26 to the Superannuation Act 1916 is amended by
inserting the following at the end of the Part:
University of New England, Armidale Union (limited to persons who
were contributors to the Fund immediately before becoming employed
by the University of New England, Armidale Union)
