Superannuation (Coleambally Irrigation New South Wales

Corporation) Order 2001

under the

Superannuation Act 1916

GORDON SAMUELS, Governor I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, CVO, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 62 of the Superannuation Act 1916, make the following Order.

Explanatory note
Coleambally Irrigation Corporation is an authority listed in Schedule 3 to the
Superannuation Act 1916 and is accordingly an employer under that Act.
Coleambally Irrigation Co-operative Limited is the current successor to
Coleambally Irrigation Corporation and was privatised effective 9 June 2000 in a
Government privatisation initiative.
The object of this Order is to remove the name of Coleambally Irrigation
Corporation (now named Coleambally Irrigation Co-operative Limited) from

Schedule 3 as a consequence of that Government privatisation initiative.

1     Name of Order

This Order is the Superannuation (Coleambally Irrigation

Corporation) Order 2001.

2 Commencement

This Order is taken to have commenced on 9 June 2000.

3 Amendment of Superannuation Act 1916 No 28

Omit “Coleambally Irrigation Corporation” from Part 1 of Schedule 3 to the Superannuation Act 1916.

The explanatory note in this Order does not form part of this Order.
