SUPERANNUATION ACT 1916–ORDER
GORDON SAMUELS, Governor.
I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 92 of the Superannuation Act 1916, do, by this my Order, amend Schedule 3 to that Act (List of Employers), with effect on and from 1 July 1997, by inserting at the end of Part 1 of that Schedule the following names:
Coleambally Irrigation Corporation
Murrumbidgee Irrigation Corporation

EXPLANATORY NOTE
Under the Superannuation Act 1916 employers within the meaning of the Act are required to make superannuation contributions in respect of certain of their employees to
a fund kept under the Act. Schedule 3 to the Act lists organisations and bodies that are
employers for the purposes of the Act. Section 92 of the Act authorises the the Act authorises an Order to be made so that it has effect on and from a date that is earlier than the date of its publication.)
Governor-in-Council, by order, to amend the Schedule.
The object of this Order is to include in the Schedule as employers the Coleambally
Irrigation Corporation and the Murrumbidgee Irrigation Corporation.
