Summary Offences (Short Description of Offences) (Repeal and Transitional) Regulation 1996 (NSW)

1Name of Regulation

This Regulation may be cited as the Summary Offences (Short Description of Offences) (Repeal and Transitional) Regulation 1996.

2Commencement

This Regulation commences on 26 April 1996.

3Repeal

The Summary Offences (Short Description of Offences) Regulation 1988 is repealed.

4Transitional(1)

This clause applies to any information, complaint, summons, warrant, notice, order or other document (whether issued, given or made before or after the repeal of the Summary Offences (Short Description of Offences) Regulation 1988) that relates to an offence alleged to have been committed before that repeal.

The repeal of the Summary Offences (Short Description of Offences) Regulation 1988 does not affect the validity of any information, complaint, summons, warrant, notice, order or other document in which an expression prescribed by that Regulation is used.
