AN ACT to amend the Summary Jurisdic-

tion (Married Women) Act, 1896.

[Assented to, 49th February, 1902.]

DE it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and

with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and

Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parlia-

ment assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. THIS Act may be cited for all purposes as the Summary Jurisdiction (Married Women) Amendment Act, 1902, and shall be incorporated with and read as forming part of the Summary Jurisdiction (Married Women) Act, 1896, and shall come into force on the passing hereof. Short title.

2. SECTION two of the Summary Jurisdiction (Married

Amendment of 60 Women) Act, 1896, is hereby amended by inserting, after the

tion two. word " months," in the seventh line of the said section, and

before the word " or," in the said line, the following words : " or

whose husband shall have deserted her."
