| Preamble. | TTTH ER EA S a certain Act of tlie Imperial Parliament passed in |
the eleventh and twelfth years of Her Majesty’s reign chapter forty-three was hy the Act of Council fourteenth Victoria number forty-three adopted in this Colony And whereas it has been deemed necessary to amend such adopted Act Be it therefore enacted hy the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty hy and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled and hy the authority of the same as follows:—

Section 22 of the Act
| 11 and 12 Yic. c. 43 | 1. That section twenty-tivo of the Act eleventh and twelfth Victoria chapter forty-three shall extend and he deemed to have extended to all cases in which it is returned to a warrant of distress issued under the authority of such Act for levying any penalty com pensation or sum of money adjudged or ordered to he paid hy any conviction or order that no sutheient goods of the party against wdiom such warrant was issued can he found where the Statute on Avhich the conviction or order is founded provides no mode of raising or levying such penalty compensation or sum of money or of enforcing payment of the same as tvell as to cases where the Statute on which the conviction or order is founded authorizes the issuing thereon of a Avarrant of distress. |
