AN ACT to amend the Suitors' Fund Act 1964.

[Assented to 24 October 1984.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Suitors'

and principal

Fund Amendment Act 1984.

Section 3

amended.

2. Section 3 of the principal Act is amended by deleting the definition of "Court" and substituting the following definition

if

"Court" includes

(a)

the Workers' Compensation Board continued under the Workers' Compensation and Assistance Act 1981; and

(b)

a Small Claims Tribunal constituted under the Small Claims Tribunals Act 1974. ".

Section 4

amended.

3. Section 4 of the principal Act is amended in subsection (3) by inserting after "fourteen A," the following-

" fourteen B, ".
