Sugar Milling Rationalization (Far Northern Region ) Act 1223 Amendment Act 1989, No. 96 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Sugar Milling Rationalization (Far Northern Region) Act Amendment Act 1989. (2) In this Act, the Sugar Milling Rationalization (Far NorthernRegion) Act 1987-1989 is referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Sugar Milling Rationalization (Far Northern Region) Act 1987-1989. 2. Amendment of s. 7. Re-zoning of assigned land. Section 7 of the Principal Act is amended, in subsection (2), by inserting after the words "that affect those lands" the words "and that assignment". 3. Repeal of s. 11. Duration of re-zoning under s. 7. The Principal Act is amended by repealing section 11. 4. Order in Council of no effect. It is hereby declared that the Order in Council made in pursuance of the provisions of the Principal Act on 20th July 1989 and published on 22nd July 1989 at page 2575 of the Gazette was on and from being so made and published of no effect and this provision shall have retrospective effect accordingly.
