36 Sugar Milling Rationalization (Far Northern Region) Act Amendment Act 1987, No. 5 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:- 1. Short title . This Act may be cited as the Sugar Milling Rationalization (Far Northern Region) Act Amendment Act 1987. 2. Citation . (1) In this Act the Sugar Milling Rationalization (FarNorthern Region) Act 1987 is referred to as the Principal Act. (2) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Sugar Milling Rationalization (Far Northern Region) Act 1987. 3. Amendment of s. 9. Re-vesting of easements . Section 9 of the Principal Act is amended by adding at the end thereof the following subsection:- "(3) Every easement, interest or authority referred to in subsection (1)- (a) if it is one granted in connexion with the harvesting or carriage of sugar cane grown on land assigned by section 7 (1) to the Babinda Sugar Mill, shall be read and construed as having been granted in connexion with the harvesting or carriage of that sugar cane for or to the Babinda Sugar Mill; and (b) if it is one granted in connexion with the harvesting or carriage of sugar cane grown on land assigned by section 7 (1) to the Mourilyan Sugar Mill, shall be read and construed as having been granted in connexion with the harvesting or carriage of that sugar cane for or to the Mourilyan Sugar Mill, and in all other respects shall be read and construed, with any necessary adaptations, so as to give effect to this Part.".
