2 Sugar Industry (Assignment Grant) Amendment (No. 1) No. 112, 1992 ˙ Short title 1. This guideline may be cited as the Sugar Industry (Assignment Grant) Amendment Guideline (No. 1) 1992 . ˙ Amended guideline 2. The Sugar Industry (Assignment Grant) Guideline 1992 is amended as set out in this guideline. ˙ Insertion of new s.9 3. After section 8— insert— ˙ ‘Increased sugar production ‘9.(1) In this section— “1992 shortfall” means the amount of the 1992 aggregate increase that, at the commencement of this section, remains available for the grant of assignments taking into account assignments granted as a result of the offer of the whole of the 1992 aggregate increase by the Corporation in the first instance. ‘(2) In granting assignments from out of the 1992 shortfall, the Corporation, to the extent practicable, will give priority to those applicants who are able to demonstrate a capacity and willingness to fully use the grant for the production of sugar cane in the 1992 crushing season or as soon as possible afterwards. ’.
