Sugar Cane Levy Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and having taken into consideration the recommendation arising out of consultations between the Minister of State for Primary Industries and Energy and the sugar industry organisations about the rate of levy to be prescribed for the purposes of section 7 of the Sugar Cane Levy Act 1987, make the following Regulations under that Act.

1. Commencement

1.1  These Regulations commence on 1 October 1992.

2. Amendment

2.1  The Sugar Cane Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3. Regulation 3 (Prescribed rate of levy)

3.1  Omit “$0.10 per tonne”, substitute “$0.14 per tonne”.
