225 Q 1tEPlt5lln ANNO SE.PTIMO DECIMO ELIZABETHAE SECUNDAE REGINAE No. 26 of 1968 An Act to Amend The Succession and Probate Duties Act 1892 as subsequently amended from time to time in certain particulars [ASSENTED TO 11TH NOVEMBER, 1968] BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the. same, as follows:- 1. Short title and citation . (1) This Act may be cited as the Succession and Probate Duties Act Amendment Act 1968. (2) The Succession and Probate Duties Act 1892, as subsequently amended from time to time, is in this Act referred to as the Principal Act. (3) The Principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Succession and Probate Duties Act 18921968. 11

Section 12 of the Principal Act is amended by in provision (5)- (a) omitting the words " five thousand pounds " (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead, in each case, the words " fifteen thousand dollars "; (b) omitting the words " seven thousand pounds " (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead, in each case, the words " nineteen thousand dollars "; and (c) omitting the words " twenty pounds " (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead, in each case, the words " forty dollars ".
