Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to increase (from $122 to $125) the fee that is payable under the Succession
Act 2006 for depositing a will in the office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court.

This Regulation is made under the Succession Act 2006, including section 51 (3) and 143 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Succession Amendment (Will Deposit Fee) Regulation 2016.

2      Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2016 and is required to be published on the
NSW legislation website.

3 Amendment of Succession Regulation 2015

Clause 4 Fee for deposit of a will

Omit “$122”. Insert instead “$125”.
