1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Transport (Tow Truck) Regulations 1994 for the period specified in regulation 3.
2Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.
3Extension of operation
The operation of the Transport (Tow Truck) Regulations 1994[1] is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 14 November 2005.

1. General Information
The Subordinate Legislation (Transport (Tow Truck) Regulations 1994 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2004, S.R. No. 125/2004 were made on 19 October 2004 by the Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Transport, under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994, No. 104/1994 and came into operation on 19 October 2004.
The Subordinate Legislation (Transport (Tow Truck) Regulations 1994 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2004 will sunset 10 years after the day of making on 19 October 2014 (see section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994).

There are no amendments made to the Subordinate Legislation (Transport (Tow Truck) Regulations 1994 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2004 by statutory rules, subordinate instruments and Acts.
