1.Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Survey Co-ordination (Surveys) Regulations 1992[1] for the period specified in regulation 3.

2.Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3.Extension of operation

The operation of the Survey Co-ordination (Surveys) Regulations 1992 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 31 January 2003.

1.     General Information

The Subordinate Legislation (Survey Co-ordination (Surveys) Regulations 1992 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2002, S.R. No. 3/2002 were made on 22 January 2002 by the Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Minister for Environment and Conservation, under sections 5 and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994, No. 104/1994 and came into operation on 22 January 2002.

The Subordinate Legislation (Survey Co-ordination (Surveys) Regulations 1992 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2002 will sunset 10 years after the day of making on 22 January 2012 (see section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994).

There are no amendments made to the Subordinate Legislation (Survey Co‑ordination (Surveys) Regulations 1992 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 2002 by statutory rules, subordinate instruments and Acts.
