The Governor in Council, on the certificate and
recommendation of the Treasurer, makes the following
Regulations:

1. Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to extend the
operation of the State Electricity Commission
(Energy Efficiency Labelling) (Refrigerators,
Refrigerator-Freezers and Freezers) Regulations19871 for 12 months.
2. Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 5 and
28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3. Extension of revocation date
The operation of the State Electricity Commission
(Energy Efficiency Labelling) (Refrigerators,
Refrigerator-Freezers and Freezers) Regulations
1987 is extended from the date of their revocation
under section 5 of the Subordinate LegislationAct 1994 until 27 April 1998.
