Regulations 1997

The Governor in Council, on the certificate and
recommendation of the Minister for Fair Trading, makes the
following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to extend the
operation of the Retirement Villages Regulations

19871 for 12 months.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 5 and

28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3. Extension of revocation date

The operation of the Retirement Villages
Regulations 1987 is extended from the date of

- Extension of Operation) Regulations 1997

their revocation under section 5 of the
Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 until 1 June

1998.
