Regulations 1996

The Governor in Council, on the certificate and
recommendation of the Minister for Agriculture and
Resources, makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Regulations 19861 for 12 months.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 5 and

28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3. Extension of revocation date

The operation of the Prevention of Cruelty to
Animals Regulations 1986 is extended from the

Regulations 1986-Extension of Operation) Regulations 1996

date of their revocation under section 5 of the
Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 until 22

December 1997.
