Subordinate
Legislation (Postponement of Expiry) Regulations 2006

Subordinate Legislation Act 1978
1—Short title
These
regulations may be cited as the Subordinate Legislation (Postponement of
Expiry) Regulations 2006.
2—Commencement
These
regulations will come into operation on 1 September 2006.
3—Interpretation
In these regulations, unless the contrary intention
appears—
Act means the Subordinate Legislation Act 1978.
4—Postponement of expiry for 1
year—Regulations made before 1 January 1996
The
expiry under Part 3A of the Act of the regulations listed in Schedule 1 is
postponed for a period of 1 year commencing on 1 September 2006.
5—Expiry of obsolete
regulations
The
regulations listed in Schedule 2 will expire under the Act on 1 September 2006.
