1Objective
The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Parliamentary Allowances Regulations 2003, which would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5(1) of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994, for the period specified in regulation 3.
2Authorising provisions
These Regulations are made under sections 5A and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.
3Extension of operation
The operation of the Parliamentary Allowances Regulations 2003[1] is extended for the period beginning on 29 January 2013 and ending on 28 January 2014.
4Expiry
These Regulations expire on 29 January 2014.

1. General Information
The Subordinate Legislation (Parliamentary Allowances Regulations 2003) Extension Regulations 2012, S.R. No. 164/2012 were made on 19 December 2012 by the Governor in Council, on the recommendation of the Premier, under sections 5A and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994, No. 104/1994 and came into operation on 19 December 2012.
The Subordinate Legislation (Parliamentary Allowances Regulations 2003) Extension Regulations 2012 will expire on 29 January 2014: see regulation 4.
2. Table of Amendments
There are no amendments made to the Subordinate Legislation (Parliamentary Allowances Regulations 2003) Extension Regulations 2012 by statutory rules, subordinate instruments and Acts.
