Regulations 1997

The Governor in Council, on the certificate and
recommendation of the Minister for Health, makes the
following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Mental Health Regulations 19871 for the period specified in regulation 3.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 5 and

28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3. Extension of operation

The operation of the Mental Health Regulations 1987 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate
