Subordinate Legislation (Legislative Instruments) Amendment Regulations 2013

The Governor in Council makes the following Regulations:

1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to amend the Subordinate Legislation (Legislative Instruments) Regulations 2011 to prescribe certain instruments not to be legislative instruments for the purposes of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

2Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 4A and 28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 July 2013.

4New item 6A of Schedule 1 inserted

In Schedule 1 to the Subordinate Legislation (Legislative Instruments) Regulations 2011[1] after item 6 insert—

"6A   Australian Consumer Law (Victoria)

6A.1A safety standard published under section 104(1).

6A.2A safety standard declared under section 105(1).

6A.3An interim ban on consumer goods published under section 109(1).

6A.4An interim ban on product related services published under section 109(2).

6A.5A notice of extension of an interim ban period under section 111(2).

6A.6A notice of extension of an interim ban period under section 111(4).

6A.7A notice of further extension of an interim ban period under section 111(6).

6A.8Notice of revocation of an interim ban published under section 113.

6A.9A permanent ban on consumer goods published under section 114(1).

6A.10A permanent ban on product related services published under section 114(2).

6A.11Notice of revocation of a permanent ban published under section 117.

6A.12A recall notice published under section 122(1).

6A.13An information standard published under section 134(1).

6A.14An information standard declared under section 135(1)."
