Operation) Regulations 1997

The Governor in Council, on the certificate and
recommendation of the Attorney-General, makes the
following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to extend the
operation of the Land Acquisition and

Compensation Regulations 19871 for 12 months.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 5 and

28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3. Extension of operation

The operation of the Land Acquisition and Compensation Regulations 1987 is extended for the period beginning on the day on which they would otherwise be revoked by virtue of section 5
