The Governor in Council, on the certificate and
recommendation of the Minister for Conservation and Land
Management, makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to extend the
operation of the Environment Protection

(Transport) Regulations 19871 for 12 months.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 5 and

28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3. Extension of operation

The operation of the Environment Protection
(Transport) Regulations 1987 is extended from the
date of their revocation under section 5 of the
Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 until 20 July
1998.
