The Governor in Council, on the certificate and
recommendation of the Minister for Conservation and Land
Management, makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Environment Protection (Prescribed Waste) Regulations 19871 for 12 months.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 5 and

28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3. Extension of operation

The operation of the Environment Protection
(Prescribed Waste) Regulations 1987 is extended
from the date of their revocation under section 5
