Regulations 1997

The Governor in Council, on the certificate and
recommendation of the acting Attorney-General, makes the
following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to extend the
operation of the Crimes (Confiscation of Profits)

Regulations 19871 for 12 months.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 5 and

28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3. Extension of revocation date

The operation of the Crimes (Confiscation of
Profits) Regulations 1987 is extended from the
date of their revocation under section 5 of the
Subordinate Legislation Act 1994 until 13 July
1998.
