Subordinate Legislation (Corrections Regulations 1988 - Extension of Operation) Regulations 1998

The Governor in Council, on the certificate and
recommendation of the Minister for Corrections, makes the
following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to extend the operation of the Corrections Regulations 19881 for the period specified in regulation 3.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 5 and

28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3. Extension of operation

The operation of the Corrections Regulations
1988 is extended for the period beginning on the
day on which they would otherwise be revoked by
virtue of section 5 of the Subordinate
Legislation Act 1994 and ending on 16 May
1998.
