The Governor in Council, on the certificate and recommendation of the Attorney-General, makes the following Regulations:

1. Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to extend the
operation of the 1Births, Deaths and Marriages
(Prescribed Forms and Procedures) Regulations

1986 for 12 months.

2. Authorising provisions

These Regulations are made under sections 5 and
28 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994.

3. Extension of revocation date

The operation of the Births, Deaths and Marriages
(Prescribed Forms and Procedures) Regulations
1986 is extended from the date of their revocation
under section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation

Act 1994 until 28 October 1997.
